The COBRA cable project consist of the power link between Denmark and The Netherlands and it has been developed by Energinet.dk and TenneT TSO B.V. 

The cables system that was installed is composed by:

  • 2 High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC)
  • 1 Fiber Optic (FO) cable

BorWin3 project refers to a 900MW DC grid connection system in the North Sea cluster 8 developed by TenneT.

Prysmian Group has awarded Assodivers the submarine cable jointing operations of the COBRA and BorWin3 offshore sections, mainly along the following KPs:
