The Capri – Torre Annunziata project entails the installation of a 150kV AC submarine cable system, linking the West Italy mainland (Torre Annunziata) and Capri Island. Spanning a distance of approximately 30km, the submarine cable route, as specified by the customer, extends from landfall at Capri to landfall at Torre Annunziata, navigating through waters with a maximum depth of approximately 120m.

To ensure the stability and protection of the submarine cable system, Prysmian has enlisted the expertise of ASSO to execute mattress installations at in-service crossings.

Through meticulous planning and utilization of advanced equipment, this project aims to enhance the reliability and efficiency of power transmission to Capri Island, contributing to the region’s energy infrastructure development.
